This was our 1st attempt at running a league. Our team grew
during this season and we had a lot of problems during it.
We went from a phone server to cable, had 25 members at 1
time and found out that was to many. I learned how i wanted
this to run and made sure it ran that way. Leadfoot suggested
our qualifying night that we have now it was a great idea and
works very well. All in all it was a great season. Our
champion for this season was:
2nd attempt.. Went smoother tried different things some worked
some didnít. We ran all downloaded tracks this season and
learned that some work well while others do not. We feel
that the sprint car tracks we downloaded to DTR cause the
problems. The tracks made for DTR all worked well with little
or no problems. We tried running with damage on with mixed
feelings. It was the most competitive season with at least
8 points leader changes. Our champion for this season and
current IFRT champion is
3RD attempt. I think we finally have it figured out. This
season we found out it was getting to serious and we tried
to figure out why. It lost something that fun aspect. It
became work and not so much getting on and having fun. We
decided to not have qualifying night at the end of the season.
And pull names out of a hat to set lineups for heats. The
winner of the previous week will start last in 3rd heat and
high points man will start last in heat 2. The team has come
along way and has learned respect for their fellow drivers
weather they are slow or fast My hats off to everyone and I
am very proud of each of you. This season was shortened due
to a virus I got on my comp. Was a god send because we
figured out that 30 races was to long of a season and
everyone was getting burned out. We will run 10 - 12 race
seasons from now on. Dr. Fast won a lot of races early
and pulled out to a huge points lead and never looked back.
Our champion for this season and current and 1st repeat
After coming close in past seasons and being one of our teams
best leaders Bennett finally gets his 1st career season
trophy. He dominated through the whole season and we all
could see the fire in his eyes as he attacked each week and
showed how badly he wanted this championship. Great job to
all team members for racing without points update and
racing for the fun of it. This team stayed together and got
stronger than ever this season. Great job to all. Our
champion for this season and current reigning TEAM-IFRT
Give it up for Chipper on his first Championship Trophy after
a dominating season in the NEW GAME. Everyone did great on
the first season in a new game . HOPE YOU ALL CAN MAKE IT
BACK FOR ANOTHER GREAT SEASON OF RACING CHAMPION
We ran the first season as TEAMMATES and it was a blast
Congrates to all for giving the teammates a chance and it was
GREAT. NEXT SEASON WE WILL BE DO A TEAMMATES CHAMPIONSHIP &
CHIPPER / TAZ3
Cant remember to much about this season i wasnt running much
but do remember that A.Smith did win his 1st championship with
a dominating performance all season. The 1st guy to log a
million hours of server time...lol.... JUst shows practice
makes perfection. Great job by all
A.Smith / Chipper7
SUMMER TRUCKS 2003
We ran a 4 race season with 8 to 10 guys showing up. No
teammates. Was an awesome season with some very close racing.
The trucks are awesome. Well Iím just saying that cause
I WON the championship,.....lmao.. Thats right believe that
1 Farmer wins his 1st championship in 2 1/2 years of
racing. It went down to the last 50 laps at the amazing
team track The IFRT-Mile...Bennett was leading with Farmer
chasing him down and eventually passing him for the win
and the championship. Was a blast guys and am now seetting
my sites on my 1st latemodel champoinship..yeah right.
.lol..se everyone next season.
WOW what a season it was fast , fun and close racing each and
every week. Bennett gets himself another Singles Championship
and Jrs-007 and Jett gets there first Championship in the
Teammates points race way to guys CONGRATES AGIAN. And Great
Job to All MEMBERS it was a great and enjoys season. HOPE TO
SEE YOU ALL BACK AND READY FOR ANOTHER CLOSE AND FAST SPRING
JRS007 / JETT
Congrats to Chip for winning this season. It was a hard fought
battle that went down to the last race of the season. Chip
held off a hard charging JRS007 that took the champion to
accomplish by finishing ahead of JRS007 in 1st of 2 A-mains
that night. Always a threat Bennett was rolling also but
having missed 1 race was a long shot. Never count him out
though he came back to finish 58 points behind champ Chip.
As always it seems this season was filled with diversity with
changing servers and trying out new ones. But this team
stayed together and we all worked it out together. Have to
put in here a huge hats off to Chip for setting up a new
comp and having a dedicated server for us when we had
problems. You the man bro. And Reddog also for donating a
hard drive for the comp. It truly shows the dedication that
this team has. Thanks everyone. Thanks again to all and
see everyone next season.
An awesome season again with an awesome points battle for the
majority of the season. Taz, Farmer, and A.Smith passed the
points lead back and forth many times with A.Smith fading
and Farmer and Taz going down to the last race to decide the
championship with Taz winning his 1st IFRT Championship by
a slim margin. We bid a farewell to DTR2 and will attempt
Nascar Heat with the SAS mod from now on. The Team
Champions were Farmer and A.Smith showing a dominate effort
as a team. Great season by all and looking forward to the
Farmer / A.Smith
Took us awhile to get to run this 1. Tested the new game SAS
and then tested the other new game SNH. Decided that Snh was
better and we had an awesome season. Had some problems getting
enough guys to run each week but we got it done. A.Smith
figured the game out early on and built a decent points lead
and was enough to capture his 2nd singles title and 3rd team
title with his partner Smoke who had connection problems and
couldnt run 2nd half of season. But with provisional points
and A.Smiths doninating runs it gave them that title also. I
dont think next season will be so easy. Taz and Farmer were
figuring out the game with Taz winning 3 and Farmer winning 1
a main and new member PJSRacer winning 1 A Main also. Bennett
will be back this season along with old friends Swarts and
Jett. Possibly more new members also. Looking forward to many
seasons out of this game. Way better than DTR2 ever was.
A.Smith / Smoke
The best season we have ever had. Great racing. New members.
Awesome game. SNH has proven that it is the game of choice.
Bennett, JDHRacing, Swarts, Jett, Chipper all return for this
season along with new faces Jim, Canuk, Shakey, LW86jr,
Ledft...plus many more. The points chase went down to the last
race with a 9 point spread after 11 races. With Bennett
returning for the 1st SNH season of his carear. PJSRacer
showed his ability to be 1 if not the best drivers on the
team with extreme patience and respsct towards all fellow
drivers. PJSRacer led the points the whole way only to lose it
at the last race. Was an awesome points race each week. We
will test fixed setups season next season. Awesome job by all
and welcome all the new faces. Cant wait to get back on the
B12 / Farmer
1st try at fixed sets. Met with mixed feelings but showed each
driver how to adapt to a bad set...lol. Will run both open
sets and a fixed set season next season. FARMER WINS!!!!!
FARMER WINS!!!!!!lol... After an up and down season, with the
apparent loss of A.Smith and LB from team membership, B12
and PJSRacer not making every race, Farmer pulls off a close 1
at last race. Trailing by 6 points going into final race Farmer
pulls it off. Was a typical summer season with not every driver
making every race. Still was great racing every race.
Rookie of the Year
We ran 2 seasons this season. Open sets and Fixed sets. Teammates
also were back. What a dominating season by our singles
champion in both seasons PJSRACER winning 7 of 12 races in
open set and 5 of 12 in fixed set. PJSRACER definently
showed he should be called Mr. SNH for he definently has
this game figured out. His Teammate NEWBS grabbing 1 victory
and 11 top 5's in open set and 2 victories and 11 top 5's
helping lead Team-NAP to both championships. Team-Farm with
INIT on the team kept it close but Team-NAP was just to solid
showing no flaws or cracks during each race. We ran 4 diffrent
tracks 3 times each and this also seemed to work well helping
guys build better sets and having better races at the tracks
later in the season. Definently will only run 1 season per
season from now on having 2 race nights back to back was just
to much for everyone. But the 4 track race each 3 times could
be considered in future seasons. We bid SNH goodbye due to
lack of drivers showing for each night of racing and the
diffuculty drivers had getting a grip on setting up and driving
SNH. We head back to DTR2 and are looking forward to it.
Singles Champion Open Set
Team Champion's Open Set
Singles Champion Fixed Set
Team Champion Fixed Set
We switched back to DTR2 the season and started it with our
1st Annual IFRT-Speedweeks at out Team track the IFRT-Mile.
We had 14 drivers run this event with IFRT-FARMER winning it
by a slim margin over IGGR-SOFTSHOE. We ran this event using
the total time format and will never do this again. This
season had 3 rookie of the year contenders:IFRT-AGENT86,
IFRT-DWNNDRTY53 and IFRT-HARVEYRACING77. It was an intense
battle going down to the last race with 2 points seperating
the 3. IFRT-AGENT86 wins the rookie of the year. After getting
off to a slow start IGGR-SNAKE works his way up the points
standings and at the last race wins his 1st ever championship.
This was by far the most competitive season TEAM-IFRT has
ever had with anywhere from 12 to 14 drivers showing each week
and the intense competition made for some great racing each
week. IGGR-SNAKE and SBM-BILLY also win the Team Points
championship. Congrats to all the winners and new champions.
We also celebrated our 5th year as a team and had a special
5th year anniversary race at Eldora Speedway. IGGR-SNAKE wins
this race also. We finally have a great points system in place
and a great race night format which not change at all except
instead of awarding points for fastest lap of the night we will
shange this to points being awarded for setting fast time during
time trials. Great job everyone and cant wait to start the next season.
Rookie of the year
1st Annual Speedweeks Winner
What a season this was. Points were very close all season
with the Team champions being decided at the last race with the
winning team winning by only 1 point. IFRT-Taz3 showed why he
loves this game by winning 4 of 10 races and being the dominate
car at almost every track. IFRT-PJSRacer also showed his
championship caliber winning 3 of 10 races and losing the
team points with SBM-Billy by 1 point.IFRT-Welldriller gets his
1st ever A Main victory along with IFRT-Dwnndrty getting his
1st ever pole and winning a Qual. Race. We are joining forces
with SBM to run an inter league series for summer. Hopefully
this will be the norm for many years to come. Everyone got better
this season with many time trials being within 1/100000ths of a second.
1 of the strongets and most competitive seasons we have ever had.
Cant wait for summer and the new series!!!! Congrats to--
Another very close points race going down to the last race
between IFRT-Farmer and IFRT-PJSRacer. Farmer wins his 3rd
singles championship under a controverseial finish. We tried
a new format this season by posting the track on race night.
Never again. Did not work out well. 2 past members came back
this season IFRT-JRS007 and IFRT-Init. Great having you guys
back. We also ran an Inter-League Series with Team SBM and
this worked out very well. However at the end of the season
SBM closed their doors and Billy and Bad joined our team.
2 great additions. Also IFRT-Haulz decided to join IFRT giving
up his independent status.
IFRT-Farmer also won the Inter-League
Series Championship. All in all this was a bit of a rough
season. Not 1 of our better ones for sure. But we tread on
into the Fall season with high hopes.
After the rough Summer season we went back to our old format
with qualyfing and more practice. What a season we had. We
got a new member this season IFRT-Dosier joined the team and
he teamed with IFRT-Farmer to win his 1st Team championship
of his short carrear. IFRT-Farmer also wins the singles
championship giving him 4 singles and 4 team titles of his
100 race plus carrear. We also ran a 2nd league with IFRT-Billy
being the race administrator. The 1st ever East Coast Modified
league ran on Sundays with 5 to 6 drivers racing every week. All
in all this i think was a great season making us relize just
what it takes to have great races.
Rookie of the Year
This was our break out season with 42 diffrent drivers
racing at 1 time or another. Joining with Team-XRT mid-season
we started the inter-challenge series with 65 diffrent
drivers running at both leagues. Was a great season with
some frustrations along the way but we got them all covered
1 way or another. IFRT-PJSRacer wins the 2nd Annual Speedweeks
and never looked back clinching his 3rd Singles championship.
He and his partner worked very good together winning the
Team Championship also. IFRT-DOSIER has to be the
greatest improvement of any driver this season. We also
startesd a Sunday Rookie league which was another big
sucess with over 20 diffrent drivers showing. I would say
at this time we have stepped out of the closet and are
now public. The series, Pro division and Rookie Division
will all return next season. This had to be our best run
and competitive so far in our 6 years.
After taking an extended break and sorting out where we should head next, this
would be our comeback and get back together season. Running a mirror season of
EVR's comeback season we ran 7 races with the whole team running in at least 1 race.
This would be the 1st Members only season with the idea to protect the team and keep the tight
knit feeline we all have. By doing this we protect the core of the team and opens
the door to run as many open leagues as we can to make IFRT as known and feared
in the community as we can. Was a great season after all i won it...lol. Its good to
be back and it never amazes me how much i need to learn every day. Thanks for coming
back guys and im looking forward to the days ahead.
Our best effort yet being a big part of the DTR2 community. We ran 3 league's this
season. A Gen3 Members only, A Gen3 ODAS league and a Winged Warriors League. Moving
to the front of running the ODAS Series i made big moves to leave something behind.
The series was a huge sucess with 8 leagues running and having 97 diffrent drivers.
The IFRT Leagues had amazing competition in each 1 of them. IFRT-WELLDRILLER finally
won his 1st Singles championship in the Members only league. EVR-09 was so dominate
at all leagues he not only ran away with the IFRT League but the ODAS Series also.
And last but not least... IFRT-Siz...whose kidding who here.... IFRT-Snake wins
in dominate fashion the Winged Warriors League and winning his 1st championship
as an IFRT Teammate. Hopefully this big machine will continue on moving in the
direction its going. At this time i IFRT-Farmer is planning on going into
retirement and handing over the reigns to another IFRT-Member. Many things have changed
for me this year and i am not finding the time to dedicate and committ myself to
this as i have in the past. If i cant do this all the way i wont be happy half way.
Im hoping to be able to race off and on but we will see how it goes. This was
the most gruling season i have been involved in so far but the absolute most
awesome 1 also. Good luck to all in the future.
IFRT-Winged Warriors Champion
IFRT-Siz aka IFRT-Snake
